Lexis On the Park

Though originally built in 2004 as an apartment complex, Lexis On the Park quickly became a hot commodity in Portland’s Pearl District. High demand for the living spaces prompted its developers to modify each unit to serve as a fully functional condominium, and the units were sold off to owners instead of being rented.

It only took two hours for each of the 139 condos to be sold to owners, and the building has remained popular ever since. The six-floor Lexis On the Park is a model of modern architecture, and its U-shaped design overlooks the neighboring Tanner Springs Park. The park itself is a marvel of North American parks and is one of the only such urban outposts to feature its own self-contained ecosystem.

The condo’s units offer a number of amenities, including built-in kitchen appliances, wall-to-wall carpet, washers and dryers, private decks — some of which are covered — and private garage parking. Large windows let residents take advantage of great views and natural light. Secured parking and entry are also available, and an on-site gym is accessible by all residents.

Located at NW 9th Avenue and Northrup Street, Lexis On the Park also boasts a central courtyard and street-level retail space. Some of the building’s units are live/work space, letting individuals purchase one space to accommodate both their home and their small business.

For needs that can’t be met within a short walk of this property, the Portland Streetcar runs just by the building and can transport you to other parts of the Pearl District or downtown Portland.
