What & Why

What is an upgrade?
You may upgrade your service package at any time. To go from a FSBO packgage to a 4% listing you would need to pay the difference in the fee and would then begin receiving the services that come with that package. If you want to upgrade from a 4% listing to a 6% listing package no additional fee is required. Once you upgrade the listing term is extended 6 months.

Not at this time, but you can find Portland area rentals here.
Why are real estate transactions so complex?
  1. Every piece of real estate is unique and therefore every deal is different.
  2. Real estate transactions are monetary deals that usually are highly negotiated. Buyers want to pay a little as they can and sellers want as much as they can.
  3. Real estate is usually the largest transaction consumers will make, and therefore it is highly regulated to protect the public.
  4. Transactions require coordination of information, contracts, phone calls, emails, voice mails, and faxes.
  5. There are many intermediaries: buyer realtors, seller realtors, mortgage brokers, banks, appraisers, title companies, home inspectors, etc.
